Helen has been involved in the dance industry as a performer, teacher and choreographer for over 30 years and found herself in a Pilates studio when she was 21 to rehabilitate after a dance injury.

 

After many years of teaching dance and being a “student” of Pilates, Helen made the decision to complete her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW) and has since completed the Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method (91490NSW),  Buff Bones Certification, Level 1 Innovations in Pilates Certification, Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment TAE 40110 and Scolio-Pilates® Masters Training, and attended many professional development workshops both here and overseas.

 

Helen specialises in working with clients with Scoliosis and is a Scolio-Pilates® Principal Educator and the Australian representative of Scolio-Pilates®, presenting workshops throughout Australia / New Zealand / Asia.  She is passionate about helping clients lead a healthy and pain-free life and avoid surgical intervention where possible.  Helen can also be booked for tailored training workshops/sessions which will accrue 1 PDP per hour.

Helen has worked as a Faculty Educator and National Presenter for National Pilates Training, but since completing her Scolio-Pilates® Masters Training has stepped down from this role to focus her energy into running her two studios, and educating other Instructors on working with Scoliosis.

 

When not doing Pilates, you'll find Helen walking her dog with her husband around the streets of Windsor or sipping on a Gin & Tonic!!
